Course Objectives:

Join our intensive program led by IBSC faculty experts to sharpen your skills, master key concepts, and excel in GATE.

Syllabus, including Engineering Mathematics, Biomedical Instrumentation, Control Systems, Anatomy, Physiology, and more. Gain clarity on core concepts, strengthen problem-solving skills, and optimize your revision strategy.

 

Program Duration: 10 Weeks (02nd December 2024 – 31st January 2025)

Timing: 4 Hours a day, 6 days in a week

              Concepts session: Monday-Friday: 07:00PM to 09:00PM

              Practice session:  Sunday: 07:00AM TO 08:00AM

              Doubt Clear Session: Sunday: 07:00PM TO 08:00PM

Daily Schedule

  • Session 1: Concept Learning (2 hours)
  • Session 2: Practice Questions (1 hour)
  • Session 3: Topic Review & Doubt Clearing (1 hour)

 

Course Outline:

1. Engineering Mathematics (Week 1-2)

  • Topics: Linear Algebra, Calculus, Differential Equations, Complex Variables, Probability & Statistics, Numerical Methods
  • Activities: Concept explanations, problem-solving techniques, daily quizzes

2. Electrical Circuits (Week 3)

  • Topics: Circuit elements, Theorems, AC/DC Analysis, Resonance, Bode Plots
  • Activities: Practical circuit analysis, real-world applications, and power calculation exercises

3. Signals and Systems (Week 4)

  • Topics: Signal types, Sampling theorem, Fourier & Laplace transforms, System responses
  • Activities: Signal processing techniques, filter designs, practice exercises

4. Analog and Digital Electronics (Week 5)

  • Topics: Semiconductor basics, Op-Amps, Logic circuits, Microprocessors, ADC/DAC
  • Activities: Circuit design challenges, logic exercises, real-time electronics application

5. Measurements and Control Systems (Week 6)

  • Topics: Instrumentation errors, Bridges, Basics of Control Systems
  • Activities: Calibration techniques, control system simulations

6. Sensors and Bioinstrumentation (Week 7)

  • Topics: Sensor types, Signal conditioning, Bio-potential measurement, medical equipment safety
  • Activities: Case studies, safety standards, biomedical equipment review

7. Human Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Imaging (Week 8)

  • Topics: Body systems overview, Imaging modalities (X-ray, CT, MRI)
  • Activities: Diagram-based understanding, imaging technology applications

8. Biomechanics and Biomaterials (Week 9)

  • Topics: Mechanics of tissues, Biomaterial properties, Implant principles
  • Activities: Application problem-solving, biomechanics cases, biomaterial quizzes

9. Final Week: Comprehensive Revision and Mock Tests

  • Focus: Intensive revision, full-length timed mock tests, and analysis of weak areas
