Greetings from Indian Biomedical Skill Consortium (IBSC)
Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) in Association with Kalam Institute of Health Technology (KIHT) is organizing 16 – Hours Online Training Programme on “Role of Biomedical Engineers in Assessment of Medical Devices Adverse Events” from 4th – 24th December 2020 to educate/aware Biomedical Engineers working in Hospitals.
IPC is National Coordination Centre (NCC) for Materiovigilance Programme of India (MvPI). The MvPI is functioning on sound scientific/evidence-based information like quality and safety of medical devices, which are an integral part for better patient’s safety outcomes. The programme needs to develop further in active mode to address public health concerns related to Medical Devices.
1) Causality Assessment – 4th & 5th December 2020
2) Risk Minimization – 11th & 12th December 2020
3) Root Cause Analysis – 18th & 19th December 2020
4) Medical Device Adverse Event Reporting – 23rd & 24th December 2020
Time: 02:00 PM – 04:00 PM (Indian Standard Time)
Eligibility: Indian Nationals who are qualified Biomedical Engineer (Diploma / Bachelors / Masters) and currently working in Hospital anywhere in India are eligible to apply.
Note: Indian Nationals working outside India are not eligible.
